There are a couple of extensions available that allow an admin to login as a customer but it is a registered customer only (for obvious reasons). This allows the admin see exactly what the customer sees and assist them with their order.
Is there any way to do this for guest customers. So for instance is there a way to identify the customers session and take over it then return the data in the quote tables to populate the shopping cart etc. and if changes are made then the customer can proceed with the checkout.
Any pointers appreciated.
