Customer Groups (Prices vs. Tax-Vat-Check)

Hello,

Customer Groups are perfect in Magento.

But I can´t get a solution, if I want two things in one project:

a) Different prices for customer groups:

Hotels

Companies
Customers

b) Different customer groups because of eu vat check

- Companies with 20 % vat

- Companies without vat

- Customers

My shop is in Austria and if a hotel in Germany orders, the hotel in Germany is in "Companies without vat".

But if a hotel in Austria orders it is in "Companies with 20 % vat".

How can I solve such an issue?

Hi,

this is easily possible. 

You need to use different customer tax classes (incl. and excl. VAT) and then use them in the tax rules where you select a tax rate for Austria with 20% and Germany 0%, for the tax class "excl. VAT".

In the rule with customer tax class "incl. VAT", you set tax rates for Austria 20% and Germany 20%.
