Ease of Vendor Listing in a Multi Vendor Environment

I want a multi vendor site that makes it so that when a Vendor lists a product they get to pick the Category, Sub Category if present, and fill out all the Attributes associated with the category. Is this even a thing in default Magento 2? Is this a thing or is it go pay someone to make an extension?

Hi , You can build your own extension or you can choose particular extension. In google search for "Magento marketplace extensions" you will get a lot .

Hi @max_v,

This sounds like default Magento functionality to be fair. You can have several stores on one Magento installation, and assign an admin to each store so he will be able to make all necessary choices when adding new products.

If you need to specify rights for each admin, this is not default Magento anymore. You will need an extension that allows you to set different permissions to each admin. Take a look at this one, this is a possible solution.
