Exempt Business Customers From Shipping Tax

Hi All, 

Is it possible to make business customers who have a valid VAT number are exempt from shipping tax? 

I have it working for product tax but not shipping and its causing quite a bit frustration.

Hi George,

This is done a bit differently for Magento 1 and Magento 2. Which version of Magento are you running? and how are you exempting customers from product sales taxes?
