Is magento 2 compatbile with IE 8 to IE 11

Hello,

I am facing tough issues on IE 8 onwards and the mega menu is not clickable and the language and currency filter doesn't work at all. In IE 8 and 9 website is breaking. Pls provide a solution.

I need a solution as I am in a country where there are lot of desktop users and they use IE as the browser with the old versions in their offices.

Are you using any theme or module?

Please check luma theme.

Seems like your theme issue, please create support ticket with your theme provider.

If help you then mark as solution.

We are using Spry_Oxtheme which is a custom theme. There is no theme
provider we have developed our own theme

Magento 2x is compatible with IE11 or later versions.

Following are the supported browsers by Magento2x

Storefront and Admin:

• Internet Explorer 11 or later, Microsoft Edge, latest–1
• Firefox latest, latest–1 (any operating system)
• Chrome latest, latest–1 (any operating system)
• Safari latest, latest–1 (Mac OS only)
• Safari Mobile for iPad 2, iPad Mini, iPad with Retina Display (iOS 7 or later), for desktop storefront
• Safari Mobile for iPhone 4 or later; iOS 7 or later, for mobile storefront
• Chrome for mobile latest–1 (Android 4 or later) for mobile storefront

Here, latest–1 means one major version earlier than the latest released version
