I have magento 1 and magento 2 on different servers and I cannot access database remotely. So is it necessary to migrate from m1 to m2 that m1 should be in running state? Or can I just export database from m1 server and import in m2 server than give source as m1 database exists on m2 server. Will it work? I need this becuase I can't access remotely m1 database.
