Magento vs Dreamweaver

Basic question, what is the difference between Magento and Dreamweaver? I have read that Magento is a platform whereas Dreamweaver is an IDE. I don't understand the implications of these classifications. The way I see it, Magento is a shortcut to Dreamweaver i.e. Magento is WYSIWYG with pre built things requiring 0 coding both java and html? Whereas with Dreamweaver you basically have to start from scratch with everything?

In a short answer, the difference is very Big.

Basically Magento is an e-Commerce framework and CMS wherein pre-developed modules are already built and added in the platform itself and using this you can create an e-commerce site for the same.

Yes, I agree that Magento have WYSIWYG editor - but that is just a small component of the complete framework, so whenever someone wants to use TextArea at that time Magento has given the flexibility of WYSIWYG editor so that user can easily decorate their contents.

Dreamviewer is IDE, using that you can do coding into the dream viewer - Also it provides GUI so you can drag and drop few components and find their HTML source but there is no logic thing build in the Dreamviewer or readily available in Dream viewer.
