Hello Magentians,
I wanted to start an idea/conversion thread about a mutli-site model.
Goal: To rent fully managed sites to users.
I am not concerned with individual carts, we are talking strictly CMS - and the level of access/interaction with the end user is unknown fully, but let's assume just WYSIWYG access to a few core pages.
Magento seems capable - I am unsure if I am missing anything that would hinder success?
Ideally, I would pop up a new store, let them choose a template and maybe even some content options (premade blocks) and point it at their URL.
Love to hear thoughts, idea's feedback, threats, conjecture or whatever else feels warranted!
I will need some dev help on this also, I don't if I am allowed to ask for suggestions on here... But if its not a violation of TOS, feel free to say hi (I regularly need work and lost my 'go-to' guy)
