Please help! I would like products that are out of stock to show on a configurable product.

Hi all.

I'm very new to this. when adding configurable products, is there a way to make options that are out of stock visible in the drop down box, with out of stock next to the size/colour/attribute? It seems that once a certain size (or relevant attribute) is out of stock, magento automatically removes that option completely. Thank you in advance. 😀

Hi Sparkynoo84, 

In System > Configuration > Catalog > Inventory > Stock Options, there is a setting called "Display Out of Stock Products". Setting it to "Yes" should do the trick.
