Setup multiple shops with their own domain

hi

new on magento. trying to setup something like this:

Magento - accessible via IP (http://194.../magento)

customer 1 - (it should be accessible as shop.customer1.com)

shop 1 for customer 1 (it should be accessible as shop.whatever.com)

shop 2 for customer 1 (it should be accessible as shop.anotherdomain.com)

customer 2 - (it should be accessible as shop.customer1.com)

shop 1 for customer 2 (it should be accessible as shop.whatisthis.com)

shop 2 for customer 2 (it should be accessible as shop.willitwork.com)

magento is installed and if i access via ip it works but can't setup for different access on different domains.

it runs on an apache server, i tried to create vhosts but ... no way

If you are asking how to setup your vhost files in APACHE for your website you shouldn't have to do this unless you already have more than one site on your server.
