I am trying to work out how to get stock level report on products sold for the week. Does anyone know of a plug-in that helps build queries or has this automated. I was hoping for a free one as I am part of a small business and we do little reporting just trying to work out how to save time. An option is to be able to export the right DB tables and do macros in Excel to get the info.
Assuming you are using Community Edition, you can normally have a report from backend, using : Reports > Products > Products ordered. You can extract CSV by day and then consolidate.

I will have to check which version we have. Currently though our report only gives us 2 fields 'Product name' and "units ordered' there is no stock level/ stock on hand way. the other problem we have is when we run a stock level report it only gives a max of about 230 products and we then have to manually run each report about 30 times. Thats why I am hoping that I can use a plug in to grab the table info and run a query.
