Use Store-View to load a different product catalog

 

We wanted to know if Magento can use store view (or something similar) as a way to load a different product catalog.

 

So:

 

1 website, 1 URL. 2 Competing Catalogs that CAN NOT intertwine. (Utilize store view switching or something similar).

 

Can Magento do this?

Yes, this is possible with Magento. All you need to do is create Multi-Website Magento store which will help you with your requirements.
