automatically Sold out all item that reach the specific quantity

Hi,

I don't know if I'm in the correct place but hopefully, someone can help.

As said in the subject, we wanna set a default sold out quantity to all of our items, but not doing it per item. I mean like a setting/option that applies to all items on site. Is it possible?

Hi Joe,

Yes, this can indeed be accomplished with Magento. The field that you need to adjust is called "Out of Stock Threshold" in Magento 2, and "Qty for Item's Status to Become Out of Stock" in Magento 1.

To manage stock for a store:

1. On the Admin sidebar, tap Stores. Then under Settings, choose Configuration.  

2. Select the Store View to edit:  

3. Tap Catalog. Then choose Catalog and Inventory.  

4. Expand  the Stock Options section, and configure Manage Stock

On the Admin menu, select System > Configuration. Then in the Configuration panel on the left, under Catalog, select Inventory.
