Forced update hours and automated emails
Hello, I have set forced update hours at 9 and 21. Does it mean that data are updated every day at 9.00 and 21.00 EST (Eastern Time Zone)? How long does updating take?

Also, I have set email sending on Daily 11:30 pm (I guess it is EST too)

so logically after data updating at 21.00 EST email should be dispatched at 23:30 EST with updated data, but often I receive this email as overdue

Re: Forced update hours and automated emails
Hello,
A forced update is an update that will interrupt other, regular updates. So, if there is an update partially complete at 9am Eastern, your forced update will cancel that update and start a new one. The exception is that a forced update will not interrupt an ongoing forced update. If your updates run for a long time, this can lead to skipped forced updates.
Update duration is very account-specific, as are the answers to all the rest of your questions. For these, I suggest you submit a support ticket, as they'll be able to look at your account and give you better explanations for exactly what you're seeing. This page has some tips if you need them: https://support.magento.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019088251

Re: Forced update hours and automated emails
The system automatically begins a new update a certain amount of time (usually an hour) after the previous one completes.
