Using RJ Metrics, will upgrading from MySQL 5.6 to 5.7 cause any issues to our dashboards?
Hi all,
I have a question regarding RJ Metrics. We have an old version of Maganto 1 running and RJ metrics dashboard pulling data from its database. We have custom SQL dashboard to get some data needed.
We need to upgrade our MySQL instances from 5.6 to 5.7. We're currently in the testing phase, Magento runs normally with 5.7, but I'm afraid the custom SQL queries in RJ Metrics will fail after the upgrade? Is there any documentation on this, or have someone done this before to give me some insight ?
Thanks in advance!
Regards, Reda.

Hi Reda,
SQL queries in MBI will be unaffected by a change in the version of your MySQL database. So MySQL upgrade from 5.6 to 5.7 will not impact your custom SQL queries.
Hope it helps!
