Implementing multi vendor magento site. Customer must be able to select different shipping

We have a requirement where store have different vendors from different locations and all provides drop ship.

so dealer have differnet warehouse locations to ship.

I want let the customer choose different shipping methods for each vendor if he adds the items from multiple vendors.

Shippnig cost must be charge seperately and visible to customer.

I am open to buy an extension having same functionality.

please suggest.

Do you know Magento has native support for Multi Shipping? It's off by default cause of the added complexity, but have you tried it? If so, what features are you mising that it doesn't provide?

There's an extension by Webshopapps for multi-warehouses (=multi-vendors in your case) we once used http://webshopapps.com/row/dropship.html. It works pretty nice and their support is good too.
