Recently bought popup window

Hi,

Looking for an extension in M2 that pops up a window in the lower left corner of the screen saying " customer x from y has just purchased z"

Similar to this extension - https://www.alingaecommerce.com.au/magento-extension-someone-recently-purchased

Can find a few for 1.9, but need 2.1 version.

Hey,
There aren't that many useful Magento 2 extensions in this category. However you can try checking out this one:

https://www.polacin.com/product-notification-activity-stream.html

It's similar, but the functionality is limited. Maybe you could work something out. Currently there are great AheadWorks and Amasty extensions in this category, but they don't have an M2 version, yet And nothing else with similar functionality. Maybe you could contact these devs and find out when the extensions are going to be out live on M2.
