Subscription for a limited amount of downloads per month

Hi,

I'm putting together a digital product store, where customers can choose between 3 subscription plans that grant them a certain amount of downloads per month. Each plan gives access to 1 of 3 variants of a product (such as the premium plan will give access to the best variant). 

My goal is to let customers choose how they want to spend their downloads and if they exceed the limit they can purchase the product for extra.

Please tell me that there are modules I can build upon for this

If you are a developer, you need to create an extension for this by using magento events. I don't have idea with any existing extension to fulfill such requirement. You can ask any extension developer who has subscription and Recurring extension.
