Subscriptions and payment plans

I want to add a subscription addon to our site, but we want the ability to have have a few different things. Site is MAgento 2 CE

We will have standard subscriptions i.e one payement each month/week for a product

But we want to do a subscription where they make maybe 2 or 3 payments and then get the product. It then keeps rolling so pay august/september get product after september payment pay october/november get product after november product.

Finally we would like payment plan functionality so they order pay 20% deposit and then can make additional payments to pay of rest wthing 8-12 week period.

Lastly it all needs to work with Paypal.

Does this exist or any recommendations to making this happen?

I’ve not seen this extension specifically but I don’t think it would be that hard to build.

You would create an order and the status would be pending then apply payments to it until it was 100% paid then change the status to processing.

Some magic could be worked to make them Sudo orders and or hide them from the main table to avoid confusion when processing.

Aheadworks make a good subscription plugin. It could possibly be extended to add the feature you are looking for but also it may be more cost effective to build the whole thing.
