changes the default sorting

Hi! 

I'm looking for an extension that allow me to change the default sorting. 

It sounds simple, but I haven't been able to find an extension that suits my needs.

What I want to happen: 

When a customer goes to our webshop and opens a category, I want them to see items from a specific brand first. For example, I want customers to see Nike before Adidas or Reebok. 

So the products should be automatically sorted by brand - to which you can add a specific weight - and then by stock. 

Is there any extension that would be able to do this? 

My apologies if there already is a topic covering this specific type of extension. 

I searched through the topics, but couldn't find one..
