Re: notify for orders through whatsapp

Hi there,

Please have a look at Magento 2 WhatsApp Order Notification extension, it is very useful for sending out automatic notifications and messages whenever there is an update on the order status.

In this extension the customer will get alerts on WhatsApp for:

  • placed
  • complete,
  • hold,
  • unhold
  • pending,
  • processing,
  • cancel
  • shipped
  • and many more.

Hope this helps!

Thanks,

Rohit.

Re: notify for orders through whatsapp

There are several ways to achieve order placement notification to customers via WhatsApp in Magento:

  1. Using a third-party extension: There are a number of Magento extensions available that allow you to send order notifications via WhatsApp, such as "WhatsApp Order Notification" and "WhatsApp Notifications." You can search for these extensions in the Magento Marketplace or other marketplaces, and install the one that best fits your needs.

  2. Custom Development: Another option is to build a custom module that integrates Magento with the WhatsApp Business API. This would require a deeper knowledge of Magento development and the WhatsApp API, but would give you more control over the functionality and customization of the integration.

Here are the general steps you would need to follow to build a custom module:

  1. Set up a WhatsApp Business account and obtain an API key
  2. Write a custom module that listens to order placement events in Magento
  3. Send a message to the customer's WhatsApp number using the API key and the WhatsApp Business API

Regardless of the approach you take, you will need to comply with WhatsApp's terms of service, which prohibit the use of automated messaging for certain types of messages, such as marketing or promotional content. Additionally, you will need to obtain explicit consent from your customers to receive order notifications via WhatsApp.

Re: notify for orders through whatsapp

Imagine your customers getting a ping on WhatsАрр as soon as their order's confirmed—talk about staying connected! It's like having a direct line to their excitement (and your sales!). Plus, it adds a personal touch, you know? It's all about making shopping feel more like a friendly chat than just another transaction.

And hey, if you're thinking beyond WhatsАрр, integrating with a crm for Instagram could be a game-changer too. Picture this: seamless customer interactions across different platforms, from checkout to follow-up. That's the kinda flow that keeps customers coming back for more.
