Extension dependencies error

Hi,

Whenever I try to install an extension using Magento Connect I keep getting the message 'Extension dependencies'. The message is coming up before the Console Box, which isn't loading.

Does anyone know what is causing this? I'm using Magento 1.9.0.0

Have you checked if you have given proper permissions to each folder in Magento?

You can use Magento Cleanup File to give proper permission to folders.

Execute this file from your Magento store root and then try again.

Let me know if you still get the error after performing this.
