Lost my product description after installing a new theme

Hi there!

 

After I've installed a new theme my product descriptions, both short and long, has vanished!

What happend and how can I get them back? I do have a backup, but thought it might be something small to fix.

My webshop is in Magento 1.7 and is not yet upgraded to 1.9. What do I do first? upgrade, or try to fix it?

Hi @CyberDaph 

I would suggest restoring your store from the backup you have not to lose all the descriptions completely. After that you can contact the support team of your new theme and explain your problem to them.

I would suggest restoring your store from the backup you have not to lose all the descriptions completely. After that you can contact the support team of your new theme and explain your problem to them.
