confirmation email sending twice

Hello, 

The confirmation emails of an order are sometimes sent twice (for one coupon). Luckily the coupon codes are the same, but it is annoying people receive the same coupon twice. Weird thing is, it is not with every sold coupon, it is about 50%... What can I do?

Hi @Dushideals, are you using a third party extension for your coupon codes or out of the box Magento functionality?
