Hy Hi,

Magento does not support anything else other than MySQL out of the box.
As stated here by Ben Marks( https://stackoverflow.com/a/9167576/2047249), it seams that this is an option for EE 1.11 + but you will have to request an additional module from Magento support which my support other Then oracle mysql i was not 100% sure about need to check.

Well, technically MySQL belongs to Oracle. Otherwise, no.

As far as I've seen all databases that Magento supports are either MySQL compatible or close enough (such as MongoDB which has third party support for Magento)

As far as I know. There is no way that Magento 1.9.2.1 supports oracle database.
