Seems like a mod_rewrite issue to me.

Rename your .htaccess to .htaccess_old and create a new one with this settings and i think its gonna be ok cheers

It is just for your .htaccess file.

remove index from it. now if you add index.html before your path url it will works...

I have the issue after moving to another server. I have to add index.php to the URL to get catalog pages to show up. There must be an easy fix for this.
