Installing Magento On ubuntu server on Amazon ec2

Hi All , 

I am facing some problem while installing Magento on amazon ec2 ubuntu server. 

I have followed the below instructions :

In the above site , they are creating a database using phpmyadmin utility but i was not able to connect to the 

public_ip/phpmyadmin ( GUI method to configure the DB ) 

I am not sure , for what reason i am not able to connect to phpmyadmin ? . Any help is greatly appreciated .

Did you install phpMyAdmin correctly? 

Anyway this is more of a server setup issue and not Magento related.
