How many concurrent database connections is required when installing Magento 1.9.3.3 CE? If my server only provide 4 concurrent database connections, is it enough for installation?

I didn't tried with so many concurrent connections but I think that number is too small.
By default the number is higher than 4 (I guess is 100, I don't remember right now).
Can you change that value?
