Savings / You Saved

We need to display a "Savings of" or a "You Saved:" on the items that reflects the difference between what the selling price is and the MSRP.

I have tried the duntuk and stackoverflow suggestions but have not been able to get either of those two to work so any help would be appreciated.

Does Magento themselves ever respond to ANY of the posts? I have noticed not just mine but several others end up never getting answered.

That to me is just incredulous, especially with some of these questions not being out there to the extreme, but basic content changes that are a normal part of other packages.

This is a forum, and not a payed service, so please be patienced about the response time, if your request is a ASAP matter, you could hire a magento developer to do the task for you :0)

This said, what version of Magento are you using ?

You write that you did try Dutnuk and stackoverflow suggestions, which did'nt work ?

Did you find out, why it did'nt work ?

I'm using 1.9 using the RWD theme with a sub theme below that.
