After data migration: system attributes missing

Hi

I migrated from 1.6 to 2.0.4 and followed the steps in the data migration tool. Migration went well (I had to add some mappings) and I can see products in the grid. But when I want to edit there is just nothing. (see image) This also happens for new products.

When I have a look at a default Magento 2 installation there are some system attributes the migration did delete. Also the "Default" attribute set is gone and I think this should be kept... 

Any ideas why this happens?
