How can I add functionality for buy 2 or 5 get 1 specific product free.

Is there any setting or cart price rule or extension to solve this requirement?

I'm also wondering that, I tried the "Buy 2 specific products and get one specific product free" guide but not working for me. I want to do "buy one specific product and get one specific product for free" offer. Tried many different ways, none of them worked.
