Can not find the php.ini

I install the Magento 2 and met with the issue of PHP Extension intl missing, have found the answer. The question is I install the M2 at the Cpanel rather than the local. I can not find the file of php.ini , just found the file called php.ini.sample. How to deal with it. Thanks

Are you using a managed hosting provider or running your own server? If the latter is the case, basically you should know where the php.ini is. If you are using a hosting provider, they should know and be able to help you

If you have SSH access, this command should give you the php.ini path:

php --ini
