There are mainly two reasons for this error.

1. Magento throws this error at the time of uploading the latest version of Magento 2 on the server.

2. Another reason for the error is the installation of Magento 2 latest version to your server.

Solution for this:

Enable Developer mode:

There are two ways to enable developer mode. one through .htaccess and

the other is through SSH/Command line.

Give 'Kudo' and accept it as a solution if it works.
