Getting 404 not found after fresh installation using composer on ubuntu 20.04

I am trying to install Magento2 using composer on out virtual box ubuntu 20.04 machine.

While accessing the homepage of Magento its showing 404 not found error and body of website showing as below:

Also, I am trying to copy .htaccess file from git url: https://github.com/magento/magento2/blob/2.3-develop/.htaccess but unable to fine this file.
