I created a product. I added an attribute as "size" for a set of sizes.
I am creating my next product.
The size attribute from the first product I created shows up (which I don't want to have happen) and it is a required field which prevents me from creating my second product.
How do I remove the "size" attribute off of my 2nd product setup?
Select a different attribute set for the second product.
How @Dmitry_Fedyuk ?
or where @Dmitry_Fedyuk ?
From a fresh login to my Magento Admin backend, I clicked PRODUCTS > Catalog
The I clicked the Add Product button.
The attribute from the 1st product I created automatically appears below the Description textarea. See screen shot at https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bytqhoir_Tt5cFNROGY2OXNTU0E
I wonder @Dmitry_Fedyuk ... do I need to change the Attribute from "Global" to "Store View" ?
If so, Magento won't accept that. Should I go into phpMyAdmin and alter the DB directly?
Should I delete the attribute and start again? If I delete the attribute, will it delete each of the list items within the attribute?
Please publish the full backend screen of a problem product.
Your help is so greatly appreciated @Dmitry_Fedyuk.
But I do not understand your support message "publish the full backend screen of a problem product.".
Are you asking me for a screen shot?
If so, here it is https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bytqhoir_Tt5cFNROGY2OXNTU0E
It should be the full, not cropped.
Here are the screen shots.
This screen shot shows the first product I created with the attribute --> https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bytqhoir_Tt5TWpJbXhoZFN2TzQ
When I try to add a new product I get the same attribute from product #1 above (which I do not want) --> https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bytqhoir_Tt5Umo3c1Ewdk1ucjQ
Thank you for helping.
See the "Default" dropdown under the "Product Details" title.
Select another attribue set there.
If there are no another attribute set yet, then create a new one.
