Hello
this morning in my Magento 2 back pannel I received the notification that Magento 2.0.8 has been just released.
I cannot understand if this is just a typo or there are two branches.
I was at 2.0.7 and around two weeks ago I upgraded to 2.1.0.
Now what I should do.... downgrade to 2.0.8 to get the most updated code???
Magento Team ... please give a clear explanation.
Thank you
Alex

Hi @Alex70, @Mukesh Tiwari is correct - 2.0.8 is only for those on 2.0.x, if you're using 2.1 you do not need to worry about this update.
Hi @Alex70, no it will not. Any changes made in 2.0 are also in 2.1, 2.0 will be supported with minor version updates for two years as per our support policy.
Hi @Alex70, 2.1.1 is now live: http://devdocs.magento.com/guides/v2.1/release-notes/ReleaseNotes2.1.1CE.html
Hi @Alex70
You need not to downgrade to 2.0.8 version of Magento. I do not think that it is a typo, there are two branches of Magento 2 on GitHub 2.0.x and 2.1.x
If you need an official answer then @sherrie should be able to answer it.

It is as same as a notification. Dont worry!
Hi @Alex70, there is no public listing for product release dates at this time.
Hello
I'm seeing that is a long time 2.1.0 does not receive any upgrade.
Is it stuck? Do you preview any progress?
Thanks
Alex
Hi @Alex70, 2.1.1 is in progress. We will be sure to let you know when it is ready.
