Magento 2.3.3 em subfoder de 1.9

Hi, I have Magento 1.9 installed in the public_html folder and working normally. I installed version 2.3.3 on my local machine and it is up and running. I tried to upgrade to 2.3.3 for the remote server in a subfolder (m2) in public_html, changed the .htaccess to RewriteBase / m2 / but it didn't work. When then with www.mysite.com/m2, version 1.9 takes over and shows "There was no 404 CMS page configured or found". I need to do some more testing before replacing version 1.9, but it has to be on the remote server. What is the right way to do this, if it is possible?

Hi Mordente. Have you already checked Stack Exchange for answers like this one:

This sounds like an htaccess issue on both of your instances of Magento.
