Main Difference b/w magento 1.x and 2

before going to start working on magento 2. I would like to know about the defference b/w magento 1.x and magento 2. And what special requirement (server configuration) are require for setup and what new feature added.

There are many differences.

Your best bet is to read through the wealth of online documentation. The official docs are quite good (http://devdocs.magento.com/) but there are a number of other resources out there.
