Stripe module is 404 on JS files, but they are there, but in a sub-folder??

Installed Stripe as follows:

Did it on a dev site at first and it worked. 

Now on the live site it does not show on the front end. It works in the admin, and have configured it with API keys etc. 

Front end shows 404s on Stripe files. Its calling this file:

pub/static/frontend/Pearl/weltpixel_custom_retail/en_GB/stripe_payments_express.js

But that file does not exist. It actually exists in the following folder:

pub/static/frontend/Pearl/weltpixel_custom_retail/en_GB/StripeIntegration_Payments/js/stripe_payments_express.js

So why would this happen please, and how do you fix it? 

I have re-run the whole setup:upgrade, compile, deploy, cache flush and clean twice but still same.

I wish I could - I have the exact same issue. I have considered posting to Stackexchange as you tend to get more help. I have also contacted stripe and I am awaiting a response.
