Unable to donwload Magento 2.0

Hi,

I am new to Magento to thought of downloading the latest release and try it I did signup, after that When I try to download it its not been downloading using IDM ( internet download manager) its not able to resolve the URL to download.

Please help.

Hi,

You open Internet Download Manager(IDM) > Downloads > Options > File Types > Edit list > Add > add your link to the list of address exceptions.

unfortunately didn't worked for me.

Reason is I get download box, that was not the issue, issue is in resolving the address for download from magentcommerce.

it first send request to magentocommerce.com/products/some name / download.

then redirect to magentocommerce.com/download/

This means magentoconmmerce is rejecting the request from IDM.

IDM is not able to resolve the host. or host is not allowing.

Need solution to that.

Same problem with me. IDM keeps on resolving the url but never moves forward. It is stuck on https://magento.com/tech-resources/download 

I tried adding the url as exception as you said, but still nothing.

Moreover I tried downloading it from my phone as well through google chrome directly, but same problem. It simply shows download unsuccessful.

What m I supposed to do now.

Although I did download it one time from my account, but lost that file. Is it something like you can only download magento one time from your account.

@ananttahI doubt you can download it using IDM. Rather go to the URL https://magento.com/tech-resources/download and select the format (ZIP) and download. Should not take long to download. Check the screenshot below.

Problem solve? Give 'Kudos" and select as solution.
