blank page when loading index.php

I get a blank page when i try to load index.php, in root drectory.  I have uploaded other sample pages with .php and the will load.

Can you turn on the errors and see if there is a 500 error that is being thrown?

It turned out to be permissions were set wrong.  I ended up setting them to 777 and I was able to install the program.

Dimtry - you do realize that mage2.pro does not work on IE10 right? It just throws out a blank page. Fortunately we are still able to read the content of your publications using the View Source option in IE.

I would love to be allowed to use a third party web browser but corporate policy (SOP), where I browse from most of the time, strictly forbid their installation.
