what import extension you recommend for importing 5000 products

magento 2.2

we need to import 5000 configrable products (each having 5 simple products)

products does not exist now in any database or system yet so we need to create it, I was hoping such extension had built in features that streamlined the processs.... like so I don't need to wory about what is the corret setting for use_config_max_sale_qty

what extension/plugin you recommend for doing that?

I have downloaded https://github.com/firebearstudio/importexportfree.git from github. that is a master I downloaded. Is that correct of me to download a master? unsure how to proceed installing it, but read it has something to do with a composer, not sure what that is...

a support guy at hostgator suggested I follow this guide to install the plugin: https://www.magestore.com/magento-installation/how-to-install-magento-extension but unsure if this guide is ok as it doesn't mention composer....
