I have so far enjoyed the learning journey with Magento2. I have had issues with the data migration tool so am experimenting with starting from scratch
Today I setup a clean install and made a configurable product and generated the variants.
I noticed that it created "Virtual Product" for the variations, which is different to Magento1 which would create "Simple Products" for the variants.
Any insight on the change / difference ?
