Is there a way to download category data?

In the Admin panel there under "System" there is an "Export" option in the menu. From there you can pick "Products" which includes category information per product. Does this satisfy your needs? (If not, feel free to post on GitHub a feature request describing the data you are after and a use case why it is useful to support - the PM's can then review the proposal.)

Thank You for your reply but i need more info like meta and so on.

I found an Extension for it called "categoryimportexport" and it did what i needed.
