we have a magento website which our website developer created for us, one of the key factors was the website ability to import products via our supplier csv files, since the website was completed our developer has since told us that we cannot mass import the products, is this true ? can you advise please as we are really gutted about this and spent a lot of time getting the product developed to be told afterwards we cannot upload products this way

Is it M1 or M2? Both M1 and M2 can import products from a CSV file. (M2 is around 4 times faster here.) A lot of people work that way.
