Assigning products to new store does not add the products

Unable to find this problem explained, so thanks in advance.

I have added multiple stores and they are working ok.

I have assigned existing products to 2 different categories/stores.

They display in store1 but not in the new store2.

If I go to 'manage products' and select store2, no products are listed.

However, if I go to the category and look under 'category products' the products show.

I also configures the cms to show all products on store 2 and again nothing shows.

To clarify, I assigned products under each product, then 'categories' and selected categories from 2 stores.

Any suggestions much appreciated.

Hello,

Along with assigning to the store views category, you also need to assign it to the website.

Catalog > Manage Product > Select Product > Websites > Choose Website View

Make sure that both websites are selected. Products can be added in to new website in bulk by selection multiple product.

Remember to change the descriptions & titles, unique content is cruicial across websites - especially with Panda 4.2 incoming
