Catalog Price Rules not applying to bundle products

We've set up some Catalog Price rules and have found an issue when it comes to Bundle products, which now make up a significant proportion of our entire catalog.

We've set up the Catalog Price Rule of "10% off" on all products in a category "Discount: Flat 10% off". This should ideally, for any products that is listed in the "Discount: Flat 10% off" category subtract 10% from the total price of the product. But when we move the bundled product to the category "Discount: Flat 10% off" it does not apply any discount.

Any ideas how to get this working without moving all bundled items to the category "Discount: Flat 10% off" or without setting a special price for the bundled product.

Do your parent bundle products have dynamic prices or fixed ones?

The prices are set to be dynamic.

Try the following:

1) In 'Conditions' select the category of your associated simple products rather than parent bundle items.

2) In 'Actions' tab make the following settings:

Apply - By percentage to original price

Discount amount - 10

Enable Discount to Subproducts - Yes

Apply - By percentage to original price 

Discount amount - 10

Stop Further Rules Processing - Yes.

3) Important here - Press 'Save and Apply'

This should work.
