Hi,
It seems the setting for Google Tag Manager is missing from the Google API section on the community edition. This seems like a deliberate move to limit the functionality of the system for general users. Not sure of the motivation behind this move but it is highly frustrating.
Anyone have any ideas of how to get this working?
Thanks,
Matt

Thanks for the responses guys. Seems like a real shame that Magento don't let average users utilise existing essential code and rather force them to go elsewhere. Doesn't really make you want to help them.
They would rather people use questionable 3rd party components making the overall experience worse. Makes me questions their business philosophy.
Google Tag Manager is only available in the Enterprise Edition's of Magento.
Is it available in Magento 2?
Now there are a lot of extensions that can help you solve the problem. You can see article 10 Magento 2 google tag manager extension by Mageplaza. It includes free extensions that work very well. Hope it helps people with the same problem
