How do I delete entire store?

Hello, 

My company is trying to move one of our stores to Amazon. We have already redirected the domain to the Amazon store, but apparently, some orders are somehow slipping through to our Magento store? This is all pretty new to me. I need to delete the entire store so there are no cracks for losing potential clients. 

I've tried to go under the System > Manage Stores > but there is no option to delete. 

Any help would be appreciated.

Goto> System> Manage Store> Click on the store you want to delete and delete it from button given in top right corner.

No, there is no option to delete. It says, 'Back', 'Reset', and 'Save Store' in the corner. 

Additionally, there is a blog component of the site that I've never figured out how to access, and it is I think partly why other people are still able to access the site. A web dev company created it, not me. We have cPanel access, though. Could we potentially delete all files on cPanel for it to go away?

Don’t worry we can stop site for now if you want and later if want up site
again we can.

Just rename root folder index.php or you can put maintenance file so use
can not access site.
