Magento admin backend Read Only Access Role

Im trying to create an sub admin that only have read-only access in magendo admin dashboard.

Is this posible?

I tried to follow this tutorial below but its not working.

Hi @ronnie315,

Maybe you can start by sharing which actions you'll allow.

I guess you won't be able to do it by default but there are many modules for Magento 1 that maybe can help you.

As I said before, can you share the list of actions you'll need to allow?

Hi Damian, thanks for your response.

I dont plan to allow any actions for "read-only admin" they should only read or view the admin dashboard but they cannot change everything.

something like they can see everything but they are not allowed to change everything.

Like no Add/Update/delete options for "read-only Admin"

Hi @ronnie315,

By default just a Orders allows you to handle that kind of permissions (maybe another module allows the same but I don't remember right now).
